C#/ASP.NET/MVC Senior Analyst Developer X 2 - Manchester - C# ASP.NET SQL Server.
Our hugely successful client based in Manchester is looking for two Senior Analyst Developers with strong C#/ASP.NET and SQL Server experience. You will be offered a salary of up to GBP50K + excellent benefit.
SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION:
* To develop software to a high standard, meeting overall business requirements.
* To effectively report all progress and achieve project deadlines when assigned.
* To assist, mentor and manage developers when required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To perform detailed analysis and design activities striving to improve business processes
* To ensure the departments assigned are happy with the working relationship and software delivered
* To ensure standards and procedures are adhered to and documentation is maintained
* To develop high performance generic infrastructure for all major developments and to ensure that duplication of effort is minimised
* To assist with the development and maintenance of all internal system
* To ensure high availability of all systems by ensuring all software is tested to a high degree
* To ensure security is always maintained within sensitive areas of the system and can be modified by staff with appropriate permissions
* To ensure that all issues are reported and dealt with in a timely fashion
* Any other duties as requested by the IT Head they report to
JOB CHALLENGES:
* Software is produced to specification and business requirements are satisfied
* Documentation exists for all areas of the system that have been redeveloped or developed from new
* Minimal system downtime due to poor software development is achieved
* Departments assigned are pleased with the working relationship and software delivered
* Projects and releases are delivered on time
Skills:
* Independent, confident and at ease in a dynamic organisation
* In depth knowledge and experience with core Microsoft .NET technologies, in particular ASP.NET of either VB.NET or C#
* MVC and OO experience
* Web development experience and potentially experience designing a large system from the ground up
* Designing and developing scalable enterprise grade software
* Looking for exposure on new Web Technologies
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Extensive previous experience of IT development of IT systems
* Ability to review, develop and implement systems and policies
* Be able to demonstrate commercial awareness
* Well organised with ability to work to deadlines
* Good communication skills at all levels
