This is a fantastic opportunity to join and established Telecom Company, our client is hiring New Business Development Manager.
This role is 100% new business and requires experienced new business hunters, to establish relationship with SME's and Corporate
Take ownership of a sector, have the autonomy to make this opportunity your own.
Excellent support, and probably the best in the UK from a Telecom sales leadership perspective.
Non London based New Business Sales employees report into the London office every 2 weeks

My client owns and operates one of the largest telecoms and data centre networks spanning the entire UK. We specialise in the provision of high capacity Ethernet, managed wavelengths, managed fibre and co-location services for service providers whose businesses depend upon the availability and performance of their cloud and network services.

Description
As a New Business Development Manager your key responsibilities will include;
Achieving Sales Targets
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Comfortable working with standard Computer packages, word Excel
Ensure that all administration and written documentation, bid input, technical proposals etc. Produced is of an excellent standard
Maintain knowledge of Telecoms product and services, of key competitor offerings and of market developments
Create accurate forecasts, pipelines of New Business
Account Management and Development of Existing Business/Revenue
Identify opportunities within SME, Corporate, flexibility on ownership in business sectors, regions
Develop and Close Profitable New Business
Develop, Maintain and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities

Profile
New Business Development Manager, required skills
Develop new opportunities form cold/existing relationships to new prospects and build long-term relationships.
Experience selling solutions WAN / VPN / high Bandwidth solutions (MPLS/ VPLS / VPN /WAN /Ethernet) into Corporate and SME customers.
- Experience in selling additional services and solutions such as Unified Comms and Managed Hosting
- Ability to understand the business drivers behind corporate solutions and build compelling propositions.


Strategic Solutions Sales experience gained working within a telecoms and / or data centre services related field (minimum 8 years)
Proven and verifiable GBP500K+ deal winning ability
Experience selling into FTSE 500
Has successfully managed multiple sales projects
Ability to genuinely engage at C level, have strategic business discussions and relate these to the solutions provided
Experience of realistic forecasting, targeting and reporting
Consultative solution sales approach
