A Tax Assistant is required to join a leading provider of tax, accounting and business services.

Their clients from wealthy individuals to large companies and they offer a broad spectrum of services to need their requirements. Students will be involved with in client work from day one - from liaising with clients over the phone or in person, to preparing and completing tax returns for submission to H M Revenue & Customs.

You can expect to be involved in a range of duties, including the preparation and filing of tax returns, reconciliation of tax liabilities and dealing with client queries. Tax is a technically demanding discipline, so students would be expected to demonstrate a willing to learn. Good communication and business skills are essential as they encourage all their people to develop relationships with clients. .

Within three years, tax students will be coming towards the end of their CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser) studies, and will have a thorough understanding of tax. This will be reflected in the complexity of their workload and other responsibilities such as reviewing the work of other staff.
