Our client is a fuel industry services company looking to appoint the following people -
Account Managers (Telesales).
Based in North West Leeds.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Manager will be responsible for proactively generating business through outbound cold calling to other businesses and to act as customer services advisor for any customers they bring on board for the first 6 months.
The basic salary is £16,000 rising to £16,495 after successfully completing probationary period + Bonus and other incentives.
People with no previous sales experience can secure a salary of £14,000 rising to £16,495 after successfully completing probation period. The OTE on full salary is £22K.
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintaining regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures.
Maintain a full understanding of the market.
Plan & prioritise sales activities to achieve agreed targets, involving high volume business to business cold calling.
Maintain and develop new and existing customers through appropriate sales methods.
Respond to, and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
Update all customer records on the CRM system.
Manage the accounts that are sold by the individual for a period of six months.
Making sure all call backs /courtesy calls are up to date on a daily basis.
Education & Experience
Good standard of education preferably with a 'C' or equivalent in English and Maths.
Experience working in an office environment essential, preferably with Business to Business Telesales experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages - Word, Outlook and Excel.
