TeamSport is the UK’s #1 Indoor Karting Company, currently recruiting for Customer Service Assistants/Marshals. We have 13 venues across the UK, offering exciting multi-level tracks and well maintained state of the art karts.  We strive to give all our customers an experience they will never forget and that’s where you come in.  We are opening a new track in Reading, at the beginning of December 2014 and are now recruiting 25 Full Time or Part Time Marshals (Customer Service Assistants).  If you would like to work for a company that offers comprehensive training and progression whilst doing a fun and people focussed job then this is the job for you. The Marshal’s job role, will report to the Manager on duty and be responsible for the proactive marshalling of all track events, whilst providing outstanding customer service and maintaining safety standards. There will be operational and administration elements to this job together with an ongoing contribution to the development of up-sells, both planned and speculative.

We are looking for someone with 6 -12 months experience in a 7 day/week customer service environment ideally within the leisure sector. So if you have want it takes to work in a fast paced, customer focused environment and have a passion for the motorsport industry then apply now.

Hours: Variable shifts including evenings and weekends

Duties:

  • Compliance with all operational, track and safety procedures
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Maintain a clean and presentable track at all times
  • Ensure that the TeamSport values are integral to all activities
  • Supervise and organise track marshals
  • Ongoing contribution to sales of new track days and memberships
  • Administration of daily check sheets, fuel sheets, event sheets and signing in sheets

Person Details:

  • Good standard of education to NVQ level 2 or similar
  • 6-12 months experience in 7day/week customer service environment
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of operational procedures
  • Organisational skills
  • Strong communicator
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
