Ophthalmic Technician
Location: London, Harley Street
Salary: Up to GBP30,000
We are a newly opened private outpatients clinic in the Harley Street area of London recruiting for a full time (37.5 hours per week) Ophthalmic Technician.
This is an exciting new venture where the successful Ophthalmic Technician candidate will be working with world leading consultants covering all subspecialties of ophthalmology in state of the art premises using the most advanced medical equipment. This Ophthalmic Technician position has excellent opportunities for the successful candidate to learn and develop their clinical skills as part of a multi-disciplinary team. We will be delivering the highest quality of care to our clients within a friendly and busy working environment .
Essential Ophthalmic Technician requirements include:
- Experience in OCT, Visual fields, Pentacam and Biometry essential.
- Previous UK experience
- Experience of working in the private sector
- Team approach
- Flexibility
- Attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A quick learner
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
Fluorescein and ICG medical photographer skills would be advantageous.
