Job Title: HR & Payroll Administrator
Location: Oxford
Salary: £18,000 to £22,000
Hours: 37 hours
The Role:
The company has a unique opportunity for a hard working individual who can work on their own. This role requires a self-starter, someone who can work within guidelines and is time bound.
This is a generalist role which will give the right candidate the opportunity to undertake a variety of tasks. Working as part of a small team you will be a valued member of staff giving the highest level of service to our staff and Managers alike.
Main Duties:
- Inputting and checking of basic payroll information onto a database
- Managing payroll exceptions using excel spreadsheets
- Manage the end of month payroll which includes the distribution of payslips and producing relevant reports
- Producing HR reports
- Administer the auto enrolment process, which includes timely and accurate completion of all pension administration: both directly to the pension provider and via Sage payroll
- Ensuring that payments to company Pension Scheme are accurate and made on the due dates with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Dealing with general enquires from staff and managers
- HR related letters and relevant documentation
- Absence Management
- Responsibility for maintaining HR files
Skills/Experience:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong prioritising, analytical and organisational skills.
- Able to establish and build strong relationships internally and externally with a wide range of people.
- Personal energy and a positive “can do” attitude.
- Excellent excel skills
- Pension processing
- Payroll input via database
