You will need to be the very best Manager to add value to this business and become part of our success. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is keen to take on the challenge of managing our acclaimed restaurant. 

 

Based in Bolton Abbey, We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for our busy F&B driven Hotel with large C&B facilities. Due to the level of service, Management experience within a Rosette Restaurant is preferred.

 

The primary aim of this role is to facilitate the smooth running of our restaurant by managing the junior team, enhance sales and service, manage spend and control costs to ensure a profitable operation. You will be expected to help manage menu choice and influence change on a regular basis, liaising with The Head Chef and The Hotel Management team, whilst controlling costs and working to GP margins.

 

Key Responsibilities for Restaurant Manager

 

- Performance Analysis – Setting and analysing hotel targets

- Demonstrate significant expertise of operating in a busy sales and customer focused environment in a Management capacity

- Knowledge which is likely to have been acquired within a similar position in the Hotel or Leisure Industry

- Proven team management skills are essential for this role

- Ability to motivate and develop team members to exceed customer expectations

- Analysis and reporting of actual v theoretical margins.

- Stock loss and wastage analysis and control.

- Menu development budget planning and control (including marketing fund income).

- Menu costing’s and product pricing.

- Input price control and reporting

 

Key Skills / Experience F&B Manager

 

- Experience working within F&B as a Manager in a fine dine establishment

- Minimum of 1 Rosette experience is a must 2 Rosette preferred

- Good commercial acumen

- Ability to analyse data and identify trends, turning this into commercial actions

- Ability to work in a high pressure environment

- Excellent prioritisation and organisation skills

- Flexible and able to embrace change to meet the varying needs of the business

- Proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, personable and energetic

- Effective communication skills

- Strong Excel skills

 

Salary £26,000 - £32,000.
