This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family run business specializing in the supply of washroom related products and materials to commercial organizations throughout the UK. Due to continued success and as part of their planned growth a vacancy exists for a Website Content Manager at their head office in Poole, Dorset.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the purpose of the role is to increase visibility, availability and competitiveness of products to existing and new customers.
Working within a young and dynamic team your responsibilities will include:
- Developing web & digital marketing strategy and website content guidelines
- Managing website content & production: product write ups, new product uploads, blogs, case studies etc.
- Competitor and Price Reviews
- Work closely with SEO consultant and website developer
- Sales and order processing
- Responding to customer enquiries
- Project management
- Supplier & Client relationship management
Minimum qualifications of GCSE English & Maths at grade C and above is expected, along with additional further education qualifications. Applicants should have a background and experience within website content management and development, ideally gained working for/with an e-commerce business. Through this experience you will be well versed in using content management systems (CMS) and have a good understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) principals and website development.
In addition the role will involve crossover into aiding the busy sales team when required. As such, experience working within a close knit team and the ability to liaise and create relationships with customers is essential. This role is a varied one and a willingness to become involved in other office duties will be required.
They are located only a short commute from areas including Broadstone and Beacon Hill.
