Good Energy Group PLC was founded in May 2000 to lower UK carbon emissions by developing and distributing renewable energy within the UK. The Group has experienced unprecedented success over the last twelve months and has an ambitions yet realistic growth plan for the future. Good Energy is looking for a HR Business Partner.
This is a high level appointment within Good Energy and, in addition to the role demanding a wide range of technical expertise, you will also require the necessary leadership and interpersonal skills to fully engage with all levels of the business and manage a growing team.
This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a dynamic and successful business offering a varied and challenging workload at an exciting time in the company’s continuing success and development.
We are now recruiting an HR Business Partner to join the Good Energy team.
Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for partnering with managers to deliver end-to-end employee lifecycle solutions and initiatives, across a proportion of the business.
As well as being the first port of call on all people issues within your area, you will work with operational managers and specialists within the HR function to diagnose issues and broker commercial, business-focused solutions in line with our values.
This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who is looking for the chance to bring their experience to a growing ethical business, and make a difference in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for both transactional and project work, and will need to be happy to roll your sleeves up! This role will work closely with the Head of HR and senior business leaders, as well as the wider HR team.
You will have considerable, rounded HR experience gained in a generalist role, and be able to demonstrate excellent project management skills relating to people-change projects. Experience of specialist reward work is highly desirable. A pragmatic, self-starter who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working at pace, is needed.
We value taking a pioneering approach, listening to our customers, and doing everything we do, well. At work, we like to be friendly, transparent and respectful of each other – with room for a little humour too. We look for people whose personal values and behaviours support this.
After applying for this position, our recruitment partner, Limelight Resourcing, will be managing the initial candidate process on our behalf. Interviews will be at least two stages, and will be held in February.
