Design Engineer

Design Engineer Salary – Negotiable and Company Car Provided  

Our client is a family owned business, founded in 1740.They manufacture and supply Safety Machinery Guarding for a wide range of business type and place great emphasis on both high product quality and outstanding customer service.

They are now seeking a Design Engineer to join the team in Bedwas, South Wales.

You will be expected to visit customer sites to offer site solutions to safety problems, quotation sketching and design and manufacture of drawings as well as Hand drafting at the customer sites.

As Design Engineer, you will complete intricate and complicated measuring, produce free hand drawings for manufacture and manage installation teams in order for the work to be completed to a high standard and on time. You will also be recommending appropriate materials to use and source the components.  

You will have excellent communication skills, strong problem solving skills and be able to liaise with customers and promote our clients brand effectively and confidently.  

The role may involve working away when necessary, sometimes at short notice. After a 3 month probation period, you will be supplied with a company car.
