Field Sales Representative

This is an opportunity to join a multi disciplined hygiene professional company delivering excellence in products, services and economics. Their aim is to provide a friendly and flexible service to suit the needs of their clients.

They are excited to announce they are currently looking for a results orientated, dynamic external sales professional to help develop their current customer base being responsible for all sales activities and assigned accounts within the East Midlands Region.

The role:

Key responsibilities will be to sell company products and services to current and potential new clients, primary target being clinical waste, washroom services, hygiene consumables and laundry dosing systems:

- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets (i.e. up and coming rentals/contracts).
- Identify new leads.
- Follow up on new and existing leads.
- Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.

About you:

- Must have a proven successful sales background
- Professional manner and great communication skills to make educated decisions and having a full understanding of sales activities
- Be persuasive and persistent yet polite
- Previous experience within the washroom and care home sector is essential as well as having knowledge and experience of selling hygiene services and consumables to industries. i.e. nursing homes, schools, colleges, nursery's and hotels
- Must be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Excellent interpersonal, sales and negotiation skills as well as accuracy and attention to detail are required. A full clean driving licence is essential.

This is a full time, permanent position and they are offering a starting salary of £20,000 basic plus commission. Based on 40 hours per week, mainly Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm, however you are required to be flexible as hours may vary depending upon customer requirements.
