Graphic Designer
Cardiff Airport, Vale of Glamorgan
37.5 hrs per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Cardiff Airport’s marketing team as Graphic Designer.
The main purpose of the role is to support the effective delivery of the Airport’s marketing plan for both airline business development and commercial operations. It’s an exciting position that will involve B2C and B2B marketing activity, both online and offline, allowing a strong candidate with some experience to move their career to the next level in a dynamic and exciting in-house role.
The 2-year fixed term contract has an option to extend further, subject to performance.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent – preferably design related
- Strong understanding of software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Adobe
Experience
- Minimum 2 years design experience within agency or in-house role
- Creative expertise at practitioner level
- Designing for digital formats e.g. websites, apps, digital advertising
Personal qualities
We need an energetic, committed team player with strong attention to detail who can communicate confidently and work well within a team. You must be determined to succeed and passionate about your work.
The ability to speak Welsh (and/ or other languages) would be desirable.
Hours of work
Hours of work are 9am to 5.30pm. However, the airport operates on a 24/7 basis and flexibility will be required for example during special events.

The successful candidate will be asked to provide a Criminal Record Check to comply with Department for Transport regulations.
