We have an exciting position available in our Psychology and Education journals team for a Journal Publishing Assistant.
The team is a vibrant and successful group that maintains and develops new partnerships with some of the world’s leading psychological and educational organisations.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support and editorial assistance to a Senior Commissioning Editor and two Journal Publishing Managers to help with editorial management and development of their education and psychology titles, and to independently manage 10 titles in psychology and linguistics.

Journal Publishing Assistant Selection Criteria:
> Experience of working in an office/administration
> Experience of working independently without close supervision
> The ability to communicate effectively and accurately, both verbally and in writing
> A high standard of computer literacy including Microsoft Office
> The ability to manage own workload and good organisational skills
> A high standard of verbal and written English
> Strong interpersonal skills
> Education to degree level or equivalent
> A qualification in Social Sciences and Humanities or publishing would be desirable as would experience in publishing or databases and a familiarity with journal publishing
