StepChange Debt Charity is seeking a Call Centre Team Leader to join us in Leeds City Centre. The successful applicant will receive £25,200 per annum.

We’re currently recruiting for a Call Centre Team Leader to join our Helpline department in Leeds city centre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of their team, allocating work and ensuring that this is carried out to the highest standards of accuracy and quality.

A key element of the Call Centre Team Leader role will be to support and develop team members through one to ones, appraisals and coaching. You’ll ensure a highly motivated and effective team that will achieve the department service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs).

To be successful you’ll need to demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills along with the ability to analyse problems and provide effective solutions. You’ll identify and implement initiatives aimed at improving operational processes.  You must be highly numerate and have the ability to organise and motivate your team.

Previous Call Centre Team Leader experience or equivalent will be required, in particular:

- Setting objectives for a team and regularly reviewing performance against these objectives

- Performing quality assessments and delivering coaching and feedback

- Motivating and developing a team

- Excellent listening and communication skills

- A good working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word

You’ll work from 12pm to 8pm Monday to Friday and every Saturday 8am to 4pm. Sundays will be a day off and you’ll have a non-working day during the week too.
