C# Developer, London, £35K

My client leads the market in providing software for insurance brokers in the UK and Ireland. They have over 30 years’ experience which has allowed them to develop the most functionally rich system on the market – catering for both commercial and personal lines of business.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write efficient, manageable C#, ASP.NET, Javascript and TSQL code to agreed deadlines.
• Provide technical input to clients and Project Managers as required, and to aid the analysis process.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Lead Developers and other members of development team regarding implementation of specifications and requirements
• Other tasks as directed by the Development Manager or Project Manager

EXPERIENCE
Essential

• Experience of developing Windows or Web based applications (ideally web based)
• Experience of development in C#
• Experience of development using SQL (ideally MS SQL Server TSQL)
• Experience of development using Javascript
• Experience of development using CSS

Advantageous

• Experience of web based development in ASP.NET 2.0.
• Experience of developing applications for financial services industry, in particular in the area of insurance.

SKILLS

• Experience of development within the Microsoft stack
• Ability to plan tasks to achieve deadlines
• Ability to communicate technical issues effectively to clients and Business Analysts
• Able to turn a specification into a suitable solution
• Should have good problem solving skills
