You will be working closely with the CTO on innovative new and interesting projects - they love to play around with new technology in a fun ,collaborative environment.

Lead Fullstack developer - RUBY / JAVASCRIPT / EMBER / ANGULAR / BACKBONE / DEVELOPER

Requirement for this role are:

  • You will need to understand the foibles of the Internet, like cross-browser compatible, multi-device code
  • Are keen to try new technology but use tried-and-trusted methods to get things done.
  • Write tests for everything they code and understand why that's an important thing
  • Can work collaboratively with other developers using version control and lots of communication.

Lead Fullstack developer - RUBY / JAVASCRIPT / EMBER / ANGULAR / BACKBONE / DEVELOPER

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Experience developing applications in Ruby (or another web framework)
  2. Experience leading a development team
  3. A BSc or higher in Computer Science and / or a proven track record
  4. Experience with Backbone, Angular or other Javascript frameworks
  5. Worked with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
  6. A proven ability to work following Test-Driven Development methodology

Desirable:

  1. Experience working in an Agile development environment
  2. Experience of Linux server administration
  3. An interest or experience in public speaking and blogging
