Key responsibilities include:

  • Help shape the overall B2B Marketing Strategy with the Marketing Director
  • Design, implement and execute marketing campaigns to promote B2B products and generate brand awareness and leads for the sales team
  • Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data to support the delivery of effective marketing campaigns
  • Work closely with the Account Management and Sales Teams to understand their requirements and targets and then execute the marketing plan to support these requirements
  • Use marketing automation and email management tools (such as Pardot or Mailchimp) to create and execute digital marketing campaigns in line with the marketing calendar
  • Evolve and manage a quality portfolio of marketing collateral and content that can be disseminated across all physical and digital channels to support organic growth and generate inbound interest
  • Manage a social media strategy for WEX Europe (LinkedIn & Twitter) and ensure constant organic growth and engagement with followers of the brand
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting and MI of all marketing activity

The Requirements

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a proven history of hands-on delivery of tasks within the framework of team objectives. You will have direct practical experience of the skill set required rather than having managed agencies to perform these tasks.

The key requirement is a can-do attitude, ensuring an excellent quality of work commensurate with the high availability nature of the business, and a keen interest in learning new technologies and quickly mastering them.

Demonstrated experience in working across multiple technologies as part of small teams would be an advantage, as would experience in working in a small but fast growing financial services or e-commerce business.
