Year 6 Teacher Bedford

A progressive primary school in Bedford are looking for a Year 6 teacher to join their school in mid-January. This is a full time position and will comprise full teaching responsibilities including planning and preparing, parents evenings and helping out with extra curricular activities. The school is a two form entry with nearly 400 students on roll. It received Good with Outstanding features at a recent Ofsted inspection and is aspiring to continue its success. The Senior Leadership Team are friendly and supportive and the staff room is a warm and welcoming. The school would prefer an experienced teacher with specific recent Year 6 experience but, due to time constraints, will accept applications from a high quality NQT. Applications can be submitted immediately Requirements: As the successful Year 6 Teacher you will need to; - Be a newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education. - Have the ability and experience of teaching in Year 4/Key Stage 2. - Have strong classroom management skills. - Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary. - Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team. - Possess the passion to teach Key Stage 2 children.
