Nursery Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Manager to work in a private day nursery in Manchester. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and customer care skills, passion, drive and appetite for such a role. Previous experience working as a manager is preferred.This role will be 40 hours per week, permanent. Salary dependent on qualifications and experience.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the running of the Nursery.
Ensuring all Ofsted requirements are being met.
Training and development of the staff team
Supporting the staff in meeting the individual needs of the children.
Working with the children's families.
Marketing and selling the nursery to prospective parents.
Ensuring The EYFS is followed.

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3/4
Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
Knowledge of OFSTED standards
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
Good time management skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong people management skills
Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.
