Our client are looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to develop and conserve profitable business at targets customers in line with the companies sales stratergy and deliver good customer service

Responsibilities

Identify and progress new business opportunities at key accounts through technical and commercial contacts,in line with the Company's strategy and targets.
Maintain a plan of new business development activity at key customers
Establish and maintain good working relationships with Key purchasing and technical decision makers
Maintain a plan of new business activity at key customers targeted to grow the business year on year
Maintain existing market share through the identification and satisfaction of customer needs.
Monitor and maintain targeted profit margins through analysis and price activity.
Maintain a good knowledge of customer / competitor activity in order to defend situations to retain business where necessary .
Respond to customer queries for existing business.
Negotiate key contract/pricing.
Maintain a regular knowledge of project status to ensure deadlines and
Objectives are met in partnership with the Project leaders.
Co-ordinate actions between customer and company to ensure objectives are met.
Initiate actions, as required, to maintain targets.
Establish and maintain a good knowledge of future development programmes at key customers to ensure early involvement.
Maintain a record of market/customer/competitor activity in the key target markets to enable up to date market share data to be maintained.
Contribute to budget preparation and monthly forecast..

Qualifications/Experience

Sales experience in automotive component industry in a technical sales environment or similar
Educated with a degree or similar level of education
