Year 5 Teacher Dunstable

Simply Education are working with a large Primary School in Dunstable to recruit a Year 5 teacher to start after February half term. This is covering a member of staff currently on long-term sick leave and could potentially lead to a permanent role. This is a full teaching role and the right candidate will have full planning and reporting responsibilities. Planning will be completed in conjunction with the other Year 5 teacher and further support will be offered by a very supportive Senior Leadership Team. Previous Key Stage 2 experience is preferred but not essential. Requirements: As the successful Year 6 Teacher you will need to; - Be a newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education. - Have the ability and experience of teaching in Year 6/Key Stage 2. - Have strong classroom management skills. - Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary. - Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team. - Possess the passion to teach Key Stage 2 children.
