We are looking for a Software Developer for our leading client in the Marine and Technology industry. This is a 3-6 month Contract role based in Midlothian.
Role and Responsibilities:
Liaise with all internal stakeholders, determine requirements and facilitate testing
Debug current software and resolve inconsistencies, QA testing
User and MFD support
Help develop an in house workflow management database
The ideal candidate for the Software Developer position will have
HND or Degree in a relevant discipline
Knowledge of Agile software development and SDL experience
Visual Basic.NET 4.5
SQL Server 2005
T/SQL and SQL
Crystal Reports
Team Foundation Server
Experience with version control including Release Management
The successful candidate for the Software Developer contract role will be fluent in English, written and spoken, a confident communicator who can work alone or as part of a team.
