Job Elements: -
• Project Engineering: - To work closely with the sales and engineering teams (local & central) and where applicable, with the customer engineering / product development teams to identify / define engineered solutions to meet the specific application requirements.
• The creation & maintenance of project engineering & design files. (PP, MM & SD).
• The preparation, control and coordination of project plans / tasks.
• The preparation of design proposals including calculations and CAD drawings.
• To support the development of both Design & Process FMEA’s as and when required.
• The support of the Sales teams including coordination & communication with customer project / development engineers.
• To support the Quality Engineer in the coordination / preparation / evaluation of ISIR / PPAP submissions.
• The support of the Engineering & Production teams as required.
• Liaison with local operations team to define availability of suitable or required processes and capability.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Ideally degree level education (or equivalent) in Engineering
• Project based experience within the Automotive sector
• Experience of APQP and PPAP
• Customer facing experience
