We are currently recruiting for Health Care Assistants (36 hrs per week with opportunity for overtime) to provide residential and nursing care for elderly service users. You will be required to provide residents with the highest standard of basic care and support in accordance with the home's philosophy of care and the individual care plan.

The ideal candidate would be qualified NVQ in health and social care, however this is desirable and unqualified candidates with the right character and attitude would be welcomed.

The capacity to communicate both verbally and in writing and the flexibility to work on a shift rota basis are also essential requirements

As a Care Assistant you will be expected to have:

Your core responsibilities will be helping elderly residents with their daily personal care needs such as washing, dressing, using the toilet, and feeding, as well as finding time to interact and engage socially throughout the day.
