£25k to £30k + commissions OTE to £45k + fully expensed car + excellent benefits

The Role

The Medical Sales Account / Business Development Manager will deal predominantly with NHS and Private Hospitals, servicing and growing existing accounts and developing business with new customers.

The Person

The Medical Sales Account / Business Development Manager must have previous experience in the medical / NHS sales sector with a good understanding of NHS purchasing and procurement practices. The Medical Sales Account / Business Development Manager will have the confidence to deal at "surgical" level with potential customers, entering Operating Theatres on a regular basis, visiting all departments and dealing with procurement.

Experience gained selling surgical instruments or other healthcare products is particularly relevant, but most important is an understanding of how the NHS and Private Health sectors operate, how equipment is specified and how procurement departments work.
