Ruby Developer - Agile, BDD - London
We're looking for an experienced Ruby developer to join this established Agile Ruby Development team in central London, working for this market leading, international company.
The successful Ruby Developer will demonstrable experience in Ruby, Ruby-on-Rails (RoR) and Sinatra. You will have a strong understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD), software design and version control (Git). Ideally you'll have some experience in MySQL, Memcache and Redis.
The ideal Ruby Developer will have experience working in high volume, high transactional, highly scalable environments.
Agile development methodologies, and strong TDD are a must (or BDD)
Desired Skills & Experience
- Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Sinatra
- Object-Oriented Design
- Software design
- TDD (Test Driven Development)/BDD (Behaviour Driven Development)
- Agile (XP, KanBan, Lean, PP, CI, CD, DevOps)
- Version control with Git, BDD with Cucumber
- High volume, large scale project experience.
