Service Engineer - Wind Turbine

Search Energy are working with our client a leading company in the Renewable Energy industry, due to increasing workloads, we are looking to source experienced Wind Turbine Service Engineers to work throughout the UK.

In this role you will be part of the Technical Service team responsible for carrying out the maintenance and fault finding of my clients wind turbines.

Summary of Primary Responsibilities

* Assist the technical support manager with fault analysis and establish solutions to maximise turbine availability.
* You will have a good head for heights as well as the stamina to perform the job requirement on a regular basis
* Carrying out preventative maintenance of turbines
* Ensuring all work is carried out Safely according to the safety and environmental standards

Skills and Experience

* Previous experience of servicing and maintaining electrical industrial plant (including knowledge and experience of mechanical rotating plant)
* ONC level or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering
* Working knowledge of UK Health and Safety regulations
* Excellent communication skills
* Previous experience of working within the Wind Power industry
* Literate and numerate, with good IT skills
* Full current driving license
