Dream Medical are currently Recruiting Band 5 Theatre practitioners to work within a fantastic private hospital provider in Taunton.
This role is suitable for anyone with previous theatre nursing experience or any scrub nursing experience.
This hospital is situated within a grade listed building providing state of the art healthcare to patients and a supportive working environment for staff also.
With 42 en-suite beds, hospital facilities including three major theatres, two with laminar flow, an endoscopy suite and an outpatient surgical suite, as well as an on-site Pharmacy. Core surgical procedures include orthopaedics and ophthalmology. This hospital definitely has the potential to provide your nursing career with diversity and a challenge

The hospital is a 10 minute taxi ride from Taunton Train Station and is about a 15 minute bus ride from the Town Centre.
Daily Duties Include :
•Basic Nursing Care
•Administration of Medications
•Care Planning
•Recording of observations
•Liaising with Multi Disciplinary teams
•Maintaining patient safety
•Working as an advocate
•Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients and make changes as necessary
•Contribute to quality improvement and all round care of patients
•Discharge planning
•Scrub nursing within a variety of surgical procedures.
•Ability to perform aseptic technique
•Management of the unstable patient
•Pre and post theatre patient observation
