Sales Assistants

Since its founding in 1985, our client has continually grown and now manufactures some 1.8 million garments per annum for major high street retailers. They provide the very best customer service and support at all levels, from initial order and design through to marketing and sales. Over the years they have established genuine customer loyalty from both independent and multiple retailers.

Our client requires 3 motivated Sales Assistants to provide first class customer service for its new concession opening within Yarnton Nurseries,Yarnton,Oxfordshire opening in February 2015. .

Responsibilities include:

• Provide a friendly and welcoming environment for the customers
• Communicate with customers and take time to understand their needs and attend to requirements effectively.
• Find ways to successfully maximise any sales opportunities.
• Demonstrate excellent time management,
• Actively participate in merchandising activities including store display and overall store maintenance.
• Maintain a professional personal appearance.
• Accurate use of the till to register payments, returns etc.
• Actively develop customer database and ensure optimization of customer loyalty.

Desirable skills and requirements:
Sales or customer service experience in a fast paced retail environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish excellent relationships with customers, co workers and management.
Good time management and organisational skills.

Working hours: Part Time, 16 hours - 4 days

Salary is negotiable, depending on experiences.
