Technical Project Manager - Banking -
Role overview
A Technical Project Manager is required to leading projects that deliver the business roadmap across the client's Banking Evolution Analytics platform. Projects will be delivered using the Microstrategy product.
The resource will report into the Analytics development manager to lead development, & implement and project manage solutions.
Responsibilities:
To lead technical project development and delivery from initiation through to implementation.
Ensure all development work passes the relevant SDLC toll gates as required by the IMASS group.
Responsible for enabling strong software development practices in a team of both permanent and contracted resources.
Work with the Domain architects and Business Analysts in application design and development.
Will work closely with Program Management and Quality Control teams to deliver quality software to agreed project schedules.
Work with Project Management to monitor, update and communicate project timelines and milestones; obtain senior management feedback; understand potential technical speed bumps and client's true concerns/needs.
To support production environments following project implementation.
Oversee the work being done, assist/guide developers as necessary, ensure quality
Assess requirements and work with the developers to produce estimates for new work
Assist (or lead, as appropriate) the design of new components.
Represent the team/lead discussions with other technology teams at technical touch points
Work with the infrastructure teams to ensure that all dev, test and PROD environments are suitable and sufficient to meet app requirements
Responsible for all work delivered by the development team
Report status to the Application Development Manager
