As a DevOps Engineer at Sainsbury's Digital, you will be part of a team developing an ambitious, market-leading entertainment delivery service. It's an opportunity to work closely with other Software Engineers, supporting the operation, maintenance and evolution of a wide range of systems. A proven track record of running Linux in a multi-server environment is essential, preferably using Ubuntu, with the ability to script tasks in sh, bash and Python. Knowledge of PHP is ideal.

This is an opportunity to ensure that DevOps is right at the heart of our Development process. You'll maintain and enhance technical infrastructure, contribute to the architecture of the software stack and automate testing, deployment, integration and provisioning. Ultimately, you will play a key role in delivering a robust platform that is performant, scalable and secure. We focus mostly on open source technologies, and right now we're using RabbitMQ, Varnish, Ansible and Elasticsearch.
