Area Development Manager - South West (Private & Specialist Dentistry)

This role will be covering all the South West Dental Practices which includes: Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Bournemouth, Hampshire, Plymouth and Somerset.

Area Development Manager - Job Purpose:

The Private and Specialist Development Manager is accountable for achieving and exceeding all KPI's and influencing Private revenue growth in all practices. They develop ways of driving performance through leading, managing and growing through the operational and clinical teams. They deliver KPIs through effective business planning, performance management, championing operational excellence standards and through maintaining strong relationships with Clinicians, Support Centre, Practice teams and external stakeholders. They will advise and influence Area Development Managers in ways to increase and diversify Private revenue growth. Understands their customer needs and ensures this is delivered through the Regional, Area plans and national campaigns and incentives.

Area Development Manager - Key Accountabilites:

* Support ADM's in producing business plans to achieve private and specialist performance objectives
* Identifies growth opportunities for the Company private strategy and local plans, backed up with a commercially viable business plan
* Maintains good relationships with Clinicians and practice teams. Maintains the focus on performance delivery, KPIs and future growth plans
* Influences & engages Area Development Managers to ensure their Areas are fully aware of the Company private strategy and that the practices' private targets are planned, with the tools in place to deliver and to influence cross referral between GDP and P&S practices
* Works closely with the Clinical Directors and Clinical Support Managers to agree SOPs for Private product and services and to deliver implementation plans.
* Builds in conjunction with operations a succession and manpower plan for key Private and Specialist Clinician performers
* Drives strategic agenda on dental specialisms and contributes to project work to ensure National consistency
* Works closely with marketing to identify customer propositions, enabling delivery of the Customer Journey with the emphasis on service and choice
* Participates in profitability and pricing decisions, using knowledge of the market and competition
* Proactively builds and maintains relationships with external stakeholders to deliver business growth.
* Delivers Operational Excellence - ensures that every practice maintains required compliance standards, clinical standards and a safe environment for colleagues and customers
