Our Client is the Manor by the Lake; a Victorian mansion set in the heart of Cheltenham. We are one of only a handful of exclusive-use Cotswold wedding venues, as well as a prominent location for corporate events. We strive to produce perfect customer service and exceed our customers` expectations, not always easy but we endeavour to get it right every time.
Manor by the Lake has several function rooms, with two capable of seating up to 80 people and a new ballroom that will hold up to 200 people. In addition 12 luxury bedrooms for guests attending exclusive hire events are also available.
Position Details
Hours: Permanent - Full-time flexible hours
Wage: Negotiable depending on experience (Circa 18k+)
Location: Cheltenham
We currently have an opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join us at our busy venue. In this role you will be expected to work to the highest standards, ensuring an efficient and welcoming service to our customers whilst meeting and exceeding guest expectations.
Duties include: To assist with all aspects of sales for this new 5-star luxury wedding and event venue in Cheltenham. You will be an integral part of the team, working to generate new business, strengthen relationships and seek out new business opportunities.
Skills & Experience Required
It is important that you are approachable, attentive, enjoy the buzz of being busy, have a passion for working with people, have the ability to work well under pressure, have exceptional communication, computer and literacy skills, be smart and very well presented.
You will be driven, able to learn quickly, computer literate, numerate, organised and methodical and have a flexible and adaptable attitude. You will be able to work as part of a team and use your own initiative. Being able to work weekends and evenings is an essential part of this role.
3 years sales experience is essential. Experience in a fast paced, quality venue is highly desirable; however, we will consider all backgrounds as long as you are enthusiastic & passionate. If you have Salesforce experience, we would love to hear from you!

The position is full-time and there will be a requirement for weekend and evening working.
