My client are a leading top tier retail bank that are currently leading from the front on multiple initiatives to make banking and personal finance a smooth and seamless process for the customer. They are looking to grow their Cards Impairment team with the addition of a Senior Analyst.
The role can be permanently based in either London or Cardiff with occasional travel to other sites where needed for meetings. The role is part of the wider PCA team and has many opportunities to progress not only within this area but also the wider reach of the business.
This role will include the following:
- Producing monthly impairment results and insight for the Cards business
- Producing quarterly impairment forecasts for the wider team
- Reporting into the Cards Impairment Manager ensuring the team is working collaboratively to drive forward the understanding of Cards, customers and improving the business as a whole.
- Supporting the continuous improvements to elements of
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- A degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Business/Economics or similar
- Advanced analytical skills including SAS/SQL/Excel
- Ideally some experience in data analysis/credit risk/modelling
- Be able to interpret data and present findings and recommendations to senior managers
- Experience in forecasting highly desirable
