Cambridge Community Services in Histon and Orchard Park, is a 5 bed residential Service and 4 Individual Supported Living flats for disabled young people who have complex physical and learning impairments.
We’re looking for a Team Co-ordinator to work as part of the management team to support the Service Manager in delivering high standards of support to customers and develop services within Cambridgeshire. This will involve providing support, leadership and coaching to the staff team.
This diverse Team Co-ordinator role will see you assist the Service Manager in meeting a broad range of responsibilities to the Service, including recruiting, and line management of the staff team, as well as achieving the Service’s financial objectives. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate this in customer face-to-face meetings and in multi-agency meetings. You will also be expected to contribute to the provision of personal care and support to customers should this be required. Also leading shifts and taking a position on the On-Call rota and working alternate weekends.
Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, as well as a proven ability to supervise staff. As our Team Co-ordinator you will already have demonstrable experience of supporting disabled people. You will display a keen understanding of the principles and values that underpin the provision of services for adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
You will help to organize the shift rotas ensuring 24-hour cover. You will need some experience of managing a team and hold a NVQ Level 3 in care or equivalent. A full Induction and training programme are in place for all staff. Access to a car is essential.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
