Excellent senior management career opportunity with one of the UK’s leading private healthcare organisations.
Our client, a large, well-established private hospital in the West Midlands region, is currently seeking an exceptional natural leader to assume the hospital figurehead role of Executive Director.
The post holder will take up a comprehensive, challenging remit, with key responsibilities to include but not be limited to:
- Provision of strategic direction and leadership for hospital operations
- Maximising the financial and operational performance of the hospital, whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery, in accordance with professional standards.
- Assuming full P&L responsibility for the site
- Ensuring the hospital delivers cost effective healthcare and safe clinical quality and care standards
- Fulfilling the role of Registered Manager for the site as outlined in the Care Standards Act (2000)
- Formulating and implementing a business plan for the hospital in line with the strategic direction of the Group
- Support, motivation and direction of Senior Management Team
- Consultant engagement and retention
- Relationship management with internal and external hospital partners
- Managing the consistent delivery of good, safe service in all aspects of the patient experience, instilling a culture of excellent customer service throughout the hospital
- Clinical governance – establishing a culture which ensures compliance with internal corporate policy and external regulatory standards across the hospital
Applicants should be ambitious, results-driven, degree-educated (or equivalent) senior management professionals, with exceptional hands-on leadership skills and significant experience of managerial responsibility for several departments, very preferably gained from within a private healthcare setting. Outstanding relationship management skills, as well as demonstrative commercial/financial acumen and excellent organisational and planning skills (to include risk management) are all essential, as are experience in change management and a proven record of delivering against targets within competitive markets.
An attractive remuneration package awaits the successful applicant, including competitive annual salary (up to £110k p.a., negotiable D.O.E.), performance related bonus, car allowance, pension, private health insurance and life assurance .
