Power Electronics Design Engineer - Machines & Drives - Cambridge
The Power Electronics Design Engineer will work in a challenging environment within a leading Cambridge based hi-tech company. Working amongst some of the leading Design Engineers, you will be responsible for the design and development as well as technical consultation serving a range of industries including, consumer, microelectronics, industrial, life sciences and medical devices.
You will be responsible for:
- R&D of Power Electronics - converters, power supplies, motor control and drives etc
- Excellent hands on Analogue / Digital Electronics Design Skills
- Technical Consulting with customers and visitors
- Working closely with other departments of the business (production, manufacturing etc)
- Provide technical expertise on products and technical documentation / authoring.
You will have a strong track record in the Design and Development of Power Electronics, be educated to a minimum of 2.1 in your Bachelors Degree in Electronics / Electrical or related subject (Masters / PhD qualified would be advantageous) and be fluent in English.
