Digital Marketing Assistant

Our client is a successful edge banding distribution company based in Haydock, Merseyside.

They are now recruiting a Digital Marketing Assistant to build upon the success of their current online store.
You will be responsible for managing the company`s online presence and creating suitable content.

This role requires a full understanding of all aspects of the digital strategy and business models to actively increase the trading customer base transacting online.

Your Digital Marketing Assistant’s role will involve:

Devise and develop a solid acquisition strategy through PPC, Email, Affiliates and SEO
Responsible for converting traffic to sales once on the website
Work across marketing, coding, merchandising and content to ensure the customer journey is seamless and drives sales

The ideal candidate will be:

• A proficient writer
• A clear communicator across all levels of the business
• An organised and methodical worker
• Experienced with working with e-commerce websites
• Familiar with working towards and meeting deadlines
• Calm under pressure
• Able to prioritise workloads
• Accurate and attentive to detail
• Adept with numerical data and using Microsoft Excel
• Experienced as a sales executive and experience in marketing (preferably digital)
• Experienced using a CRM system
• Confident, motivated and enthusiastic

Salary £20000 - £25000 depending on experience.
Hours of work will be 8.30am to 5.00 pm Monday - Friday
