Senior Business Analyst required by my client a leads Asset Manager. This role provides an opportunity to be part of the rapidly growing Equities Technology Change team. This role is for a Business Analyst who will be responsible for working closely with the business in a consultative manner, capturing their business requirements, testing the system changes and ensuring seamless delivery to the business users in production.
Key Responsibilities:
Be a subject matter expert for Fund Management, work closely with equities business users (primarily fund managers) and to capture the business requirements supporting any change, perform detailed analysis for prioritised deliverables, clearly showing ROI for deliveries and capturing detailed information for development or vendor teams, structure and lead project working groups and prioritisation forums to define scope and priority of projects/deliverables, some Project Management of the end to end delivery of the program, providing regular status updates to stakeholders plus risk and issue management/tracking, define and plan testing approach co-ordinating across multiple environments and resources - track and resolve testing issues,co-ordination and support of UAT executed by business users. Also oversight of production implementation approach for new functionality. There will be touch points across the rest of the organisation eg Business Change and Information Systems.
Key skills:
Knowledge of fund management investment processes, equities, fixed incomes and derivatives. Strong proven business analysis skills, and problem management and investigation skills. An ability to take a consultative/advisory role in the Front Office, and work closely with and challenge business users and help shape requirements. Excellent communication, management and organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliverables. Familiarity with both classic waterfall and agile methodologies, and some knowledge of SQL/databases would be advantageous.
