Front Office Business Analyst

Our client, a leading Management Consulting firm, is looking to hire talented Business Analysts to assist a large scale system integration programme within their Capital Markets practice.

Role responsibilities:

• Defining and translating business requirements into functional specifications
• Developing detailed test plans
• Analysing and documenting business processes
• Documenting workflow processes and obtaining signoff from key stakeholders
• Providing a link between the customer, development team, and third party vendor
• Managing day to day change requests in relation to project plans, and ensuring agreed deadlines are met
• Producing weekly reports for Project Managers, showing progress against outstanding milestones, statuses, resource requirements, issues, potential risks, and dependencies as appropriate.

Experience/skills required:

• Proven track record as a Business Analyst
• Experience of working in medium to large project environments
• End to end experience of the project life cycle
• Understanding of Credit Derivatives, OTC Derivatives, Futures, Equity, Options or Fixed Income
• Exposure to Credit Risk, Interest Rate Market risk or Liquidity Risk
• Understanding of third party systems eg Calypso Murex, Open Link, Summit
• Technical skill sets would be advantageous; for example SQL, VBA, EXCEL C++ or C#
