Graduate Emulation Platforms Engineer - London / Hertfordshire

An enthusiastic Graduate Emulation Platforms Engineer with excellent embedded systems skills (C/C++, Python, SystemVerilog) is sought for a challenging and varied role where you will develop, test and deploy verification components for the hardware verification of leading graphics processing IP.
The successful candidate will also be working with teams across the company to help coordinate development, roll-out and driving the expanding use of these systems.

This is a unique opportunity offers the chance to be part of an expanding team within an international semiconductor company that develops, licenses and supplies market leading 2D/3D graphics, digital video, audio and products for the consumer entertainment and PC markets.

As part of the Hardware Emulation team you will be helping to develop and deploy leading edge hardware verification methodology tools and infrastructure. Working with state of the art hardware emulation platforms you will be helping to create a verification environment that allows the verification challenges faced today to be overcome in and efficient and timely manner as well as influencing the development of infrastructure required to meet, and exceed, future demands.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic graduate to kick-start their career and really make their mark in hardware design.

The ideal candidate will;
*Be degree qualified in Electronics/Physics/Computer Science/Engineering/Maths or similar
*Have project experience of hardware design and verification using VHDL, Verilog and / or SystemVerilog
*Have strong C/C++ and/or SystemC skills and experience
*Have knowledge or experience of hardware synthesis and/or simulation
*Have a working knowledge of UNIX / Linux operating systems
*Have a good knowledge or experience of software programming, ideally using Python 2.7

Great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach are essential for this role, as you will be working within a small specialised team - those with the ability to succeed will have the opportunity here.
