This primary school in East Hampshire is looking for the right person for this vacancy, who will be trained to UK Qualified Teacher Status and must also hold a clear and current DBS. Experience in teaching in primary schools is essential for this role. This is a wonderful Year 4 primary teaching opportunity to start in January.

Housed in lovely modern buildings, this school is an inviting place to work and learn, with great resources. It admits children between the ages of 4 and 11. Every teacher has the assistance of a TA, giving pupils plenty of one-to-one attention. All the key skills (Maths, English, Science) are taught very much as "fun" activities to enhance enjoyment of daily life. Pupils form an appreciation for other cultures, physical agility through PE, and creativity through art, dance and drama. Daily assembly takes place to strengthen bonds of community across the school, and has a weekly theme such as "kindness" or "sharing". A reward system is in place which progresses through incentive levels to "golden time" - 15 minutes of free choice from a special selection of activities and toys. Lots of after-school activities for the older children include sports coaching, arts and crafts, St John's Ambulance visits, and "Junior PCSO" where they accompany their police community officer(s) in local projects.
