Fund Processing Software - Business Consultant - London

Fund Accounting/Fund Processing Business Consultant required to join a growing Financial software house. This organisation works with high profile clients in the Investment Management/Asset Servicing/Insurance Space.

This will include the Business Analysis and Consulting around the Fund Processing area of large Investment Managers, Asset Servicing and Pensions organisations, with a key focus on NAV, Unit Pricing, Cash allocations and income distribution processing.

The ideal candidate will have a background in professional services with a financial vendor (ideally Fund Accounting or Fund Processing) such asInvestOne (SunGard), ICON or Chorus (LineData), HiPortfolio or Paladign (DST), PAM (Princeton), Multifonds (IGEFI), Eagle (Eagle STAR), CAMRA or FMC Pacer (SS&C), Dimension (Simcorp), Milestone, Quasar (Misys/Rhymes), Geneva (Advent), Portia or similar in house accounting systems etc

Alongside Fund Accounting or Fund Processing Software knowledge, any understanding of Investment Reporting would be highly beneficial.

The role requires the confidence to run workshops with clients, gather requirements, challenge the client and handle issues as and when they arise. You must also have strong documentation skills in order to create functional documentation and have a technical awareness in order to do some basic product configuration.

Fund Accounting/Processing Systems/Software knowledge - must have!

Fund Accounting Business knowledge - ideally having worked within a Fund Accounting/Investment Accounting/Fund Processing department either directly as an Investment Account/Fund Accountant or within a Pricing team or as a Business Analyst/Consultant

Financial knowledge - Ideally Investment Management knowledge - Equities/Fixed Income/Derivatives

NAV, Unit Pricing, Cash allocations and income distribution processing knowledge

Client facing, confident and a willingness to learn and develop

Package: 60 - 90k inc. bonus
