Our client is one of the country’s leading providers of building services, specialising in the design, build and maintenance of highly efficient mechanical, electrical and public health (MEPH) engineering systems. 

They now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to take responsibility for the production of detailed and accurate mechanical estimates for traditional design & build, new build and refurbishment projects throughout the UK. This will include a variety of sectors such as commercial, retail, education, healthcare, leisure, residential and defence. 

You will use drawings and specifications to produce competitive tenders and mechanical estimates up to the value of £15m. Liaising with the commercial manager, you will also review tender documents ensuring all bids submitted are correct.

The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical estimating / bid presentation, preferably gained within the MEP sector. Educated to ONC / HNC in Building Services, or equivalent experience in similar role you will have a proven track record of successfully winning mechanical projects, with working knowledge of labour, plant, materials and equipment. We are looking for an excellent communicator, who has wide supplier and sub-contractor knowledge. 

This role is based around Liverpool; however there is real opportunity to open up satellite offices in other areas of the North West.
