We have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Manager at the Halfway Inn, which is situated on the main street at the heart of the village of Chandlers Ford, Hampshire, just a short drive away from Southampton and Winchester. The pub is in a fantastic location, close to the local amenities - which include schools, shops and a new sports complex.

The pub is undergoing an extensive re-development to convert it the the Local Pubs 'Meet and Eat' concept. The Local Pubs division is part of the Greene King Retail Division - our largest and fastest growing business. As an Assistant Manager you will support the General Manager with all aspects of the successful management of the business. With fantastic people skills, you will have the ability to lead from the front, to inspire and motivate your team. You will enjoy building close links with and engaging your local community and will be able to assist with the development and delivery of regular weekly activities including sports teams, quizzes and other entertainment
You will need to be genuinely passionate about customer service and hospitality and will have the ability to help with ensuring high standards across the business. With the desire to excel, succeed and win, you will assist in driving business to achieve excellent sales and profit growth.
