Job Description:

This is an exciting role with excellent career progression.  Responsible for management of the day to day accounting of the company, production of monthly management accounts and statutory year end accounts and working closely with the Board of Directors.

Job Role:

• Prepare Daily Bank Report, produce quarterly cash flow forecast and authorisation of weekly payment runs.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT Return and EC Sales List.
• Produce monthly management accounts for the board.
• Prepare statutory year end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
• Prepare annual budgets.
• Process monthly payroll.
• Maintain accounting processes and procedures.
• Maintain accounting system (Green Tree).
• Managing 5 team members.
• Intercompany reconciliations.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Fixed assets.
• Prepayments.

The post holder will be newly ACCA/CIMA qualified or finalist, however, those with relevant experience will also be considered, and be able to demonstrate technical accounting knowledge with 3 year’s relevant experience.

With the nature of the role you need to demonstrate sound knowledge of ERP systems and advance Excel skills, excellent communication skills and experience of liaising with external auditors.

Reporting directly to the CEO/MD/CFO.
