Salary: £20.46 (unqualified) or £23.67 (qualified) per hour

A fantastic high achieving College in the heart of Southampton, Hampshire is looking to appoint an Associate Teacher to start as soon as possible.

The College performs well in terms of academic achievement (over 85% achievement last year) and the business department is well supported with an open plan learning environment.

You will have the ability to motivate your learners, and create drive and engagement from them in order to achieve results, and looking for a new and exciting challenge within a college environment to continue your successful career.

You will be teaching the BTEC Business qualifications to level 2 and 3 students, and also HNC/D business qualifications to Levels 4 and 5 business students. Experience and skills in teaching finance and accounts units will be of particular advantage. An A-level business timetable may be available to a suitably qualified and experienced business teacher.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an appreciation of the uses of IT are essential, as is a commitment to excellence.
