My client, based on the Surrey / Hampshire / Berkshire border operate in the security, oil and gas industries and seek an experienced embedded developer (who is preferably ARM9 literate) to join the team developing software for state of the art sensing software. Due to rapid expansion recently, the company has gone from strength to strength and now find themselves needing several embedded software engineers to meet the demands of their high profile customers.

The Embedded Software Engineer will have a good degree in Computer Science or equivalent, strong C programming skills, excellent knowledge of embedded Linux, device drivers and PIC type devices. You may well have some firmware experience and will most likely have worked on FPGA or SOC development projects before.

Essential Skills
- Strong C

- PIC Type Microcontrollers

Desirable Skills:
- Xilinx FPGA
- SOC
- VHDL
