Overview

We are currently recruiting a Technical Representative (Field Service Technician) to join our Customer Technical Services team here at Molson Coors Brewing Company.

Here at Molson Coors Brewing Company we are proud to boast being the only brewer within the UK that has its’ own in-house end-to end Customer Technical Services team. What this means is that we provide industry-leading technical installation and brand support services to Molson Coors customers

As a Technical Representative (Field Service Technician), responsibilities will include:

  • Having a good understanding of basic electrical, refrigeration & pressurised systems fault-finding to component level, the role involves the performance of skilled tasks in accordance with industry standards (BDA) around  beer dispense equipment.
  • Brand passion - ensuring that all brands are dispensed to the highest standards and where these standards are not being achieved to propose and implement corrective actions whilst delivering consistent service standards.
  • You’ll be ordering parts, carrying out installations, returning parts and managing vehicle stock effectively.
  • Carrying out surveys for installations, maintain dispense and cooling equipment to specified quality standards ensuring that costs/assets are managed in line with the allocated budget.
  • Advising, instructing and training customers where required and be able to interpret maintenance & installation manuals - good verbal & written skills are essential.
  • Building great relationships with internal and external customers and colleagues, ensuring
    positive client and end user experience, displaying good interpersonal skills & problem solving, the ability to communicate technical information and training to customers who may not be familiar with the trade, and on occasion professionally handle difficult conversations.
  • In line with the company passion for delivering industry leading workplace safety, you’ll demonstrate the Molson Coors safety culture, including compliance with all EH&S procedures and proper utilisation of all personal protective equipment.
  • You’ll also be ensuring that company expectations are met in respect to safe working, customer experience, technical competence, commercial target delivery, and agreed quality standards in beer dispense. 

Working as part of a team reporting into a CTS Operations Manager, you will possess the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths & English at grade C or above 
  • Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in a Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering related discipline
  • Full UK Driver’s licence (due to restrictions of vehicle insurance, applicants must be over 21years of age)
  • Computer Literate – basic use of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Ability to carry out simple administration within a given deadline
  • Ability to carry out vehicle stock management
  • Ability to work alone
  • Ability to provide a right first time solution
  • Ability to work in areas that have restricted access
  • This role will require some manual handling and lifting of equipment weighing approx. 9KG
